A gentle yet powerful and effective loose smudge for ritual and ceremonial manifestation work, calling on The Divine, The Sun and The Earth for loving creation.
 
When working with this sacred tool, be specific on what you wish to create, what you intend to manifest. It is offering its service to you as a working partner and trusting you to direct you both toward what you wish to create. 
 
Filled with the active energy of the Sun, it is balanced with deeply feminine aspects of Lady's Mantle, Bee Balm and the ever generous Yarrow.
 
There are Manifesting Botanical Wands and Manifesting Smudge Sticks available. The wands are longer and thinner than the smudge sticks and can be used as energy and intention direction tools, aligning purpose with the magickal qualities of the herbs.
 
Gently mixed and hand ground in a traditional clay mortar and pestle.

Magickal uses and folklore
Lady's Mantle - a common herb in clinical herbal medicine, used for treating ailments of the reproductive system. In magick, it is also a love herb, the smoke calling the yearnings of the womb.
 
Yarrow - a herb of both protection and love. Yarrow is a rather unassuming herb which grows in lots of places, but it is a powerful cleanser and also draws similar vibrations of your intentions, setting down energetic callings of heart led desires for connection.
 
Bee's Balm/Lemon Balm - For 25 years I have used Lemon Balm in my ceremonies for clients who are trying to conceive and, I can tell you now, I encourage you to be specific about what you wish to manifest! It is a herb of creation, in all forms.

  • Loose smudge is used by placing the herbs on a charcoal disc in a heatproof dish - or an open outdoor fire for ourdoor ceremonies - so that the herbs can smolder and smoke. Please ensure you are using this smudge in heat proof dish and away from flammable materials.

    Ensure the smudge is completely extinguished when not in use. Never leave smoldering smudge unattended. 

    Feathers and other smudging tools

    Smudging is often done with a ceremonial feather, to gently guide the smoke - this is especially useful when cleansing a room, item or person. A feather is not neccessary to smudge as the smoke will fill the area but many find it useful.

    Once you have smudged and cleansed what you wish, pass the feather through the smoke of the smudge with the intention of cleansing the feather, a good practice of energetic hygiene for your tools, ready for the next use. Smudge smoke can also be used to cleanse crystals, jewellery, talismen, tarot and oracle decks, altar items and other sacred tools by passing them through the smoke when your ceremonial work is done.

    Smudging is also a good practice to cleanse a room if there has been any disagreement, tension, arguments or heavy energies present. It is also an excellent cleanser in a sick room, or room used for health recovery - I have created a variety of smudge mixes for specific needs. It is also useful for when you have been in difficult situation or environment.
