Embarking on the path of Reiki is not a step to take lightly. Reiki is not only a learned skill, it is also a discipline and one of lifelong learning and personal development should you choose. While I am an experienced Reiki Teacher, a qualified Reiki Master in the professional hierarchy of Reiki, to my mind there is really no such thing as a Master of Reiki. Reiki is energy, the life force that lives in all things, and something so Divine does not have a human master.

My courses have the framework and basis of the precepts of traditional Usui Reiki but I have interpreted these to reflect Nature based practice and our own human experiences. For example, one of the Usui Reiki precepts is 'Do Not Anger'. While this may have been possible for the Buddhist monks, living in temples and monasteries, to adhere to these moral instructions this is rather unrealistic as an emotionally responsive human being actively living in a sensory and over-stimulatory world.

This has been my approach when designing, developing and teaching my Reiki courses for 20 years and it is - quite literally - down to earth. While Reiki is focused on communicating with energy - listening and responding - we can know nothing of the Divine life force until we connect with the energies in our physical world; the Earth and Her Kingdoms. With this as a cornerstone, my courses are simple yet highly effective in providing you with both a solid foundation and the specialised, accessible support you need to grow your confidence, skill, knowledge and practice.

You do not need any experience of energy, auras, chakras, Nature, crystals or plants as these are covered in my courses. However, it is important to have experienced Reiki as a recipient - this is essential before embarking on any of my Reiki courses. You cannot successfully share Reiki with another until you have experienced it yourself. If you have never received Reiki in a therapeutic setting from a professional therapist, a private consultation can be booked before your course date(s).​​​
