We are all caught in the conditioning of society and are at the behest of systems, institutions, governments and authorities. You may know Arnica from homeopathic medicine or ointments to address bruising. There is also an element of this in Rat Race but it is not a medicine for the physical. It is useful if you have lost yourself in the systems, beliefs, thoughts and conditioning of others or feel a deep sense of entrapment and an apathy for freeing yourself from these energetic chains. I feel this essence can also be used for those with chronic pain and long term conditions.
 
This organic flower essence is a beacon of light. It is aligned with gold - from the colour of its flower to the Sun God and Fire element, it shines its hope. I have added the names of some Sun Gods in different systems of belief/approaches. I often feel Lugh shines both silver and gold so go with what feels comfortable with your own practice. While this is a 'masculine' essence of action, ofcourse we cannot forget the Norse Sun Goddess of Sol!
I feel Rat Race is very much aligned with Autumn, the season of slowing down, of drawing energy inward. My flower essences can be used at any time of year but some have a kinship with certain seasons.
