The Ancestral Healer Flower Aid Kit
This specially combined Flower Aid Kit is for those who feel called to begin the process of healing their ancestry. This work is incredibly important, sensitive and sacred, and often can be eye opening and humbling when it is heart-led with loving intention.
I have purposefully put together this family of 5 essences to support you in this path of healing. Like The Parental Trap I have included Mother Wound and Father Wound and these are important in this kit when combined with the others - much of our inherited beliefs and behaviours come from a very long line of masculine and feminine influences.
I have also included the wonderful Grand Mother. This is not to be mistaken for grandmother - this essence is not to commune with a family grandmother but the Grand Mother, the ancient and wise Mother of all.
Personal Power is a beautifully spiritually and energetically restorative essence. I have included it here as it is important when undertaking a process of healing for ancestry that we remain in our own power, as we begin to returning to us that which is rightfully ours.
The Ancestral Healer Flower Aid Kit contains 5 x 10ml dropper bottles, one each of:
Letting Go: 'I can help you let it go. Move on, learn from me. Each of my flowers opens for one day, and it is gone. I do not fade, I blossom and then close and this passing glory does not take from my beauty, it adds to it.'
This essence is suitable for times when you have to make a large transition but are holding on to 'glory days', thinking perhaps a little too sentimentally of the past and holding on to it. This essence is also useful if you are holding on to grievances or experiences and situations where you have given your all, and you may find yourself stuck in a victim mentality unable to release the person you had to become to survive the challenges.
Mother Wound: 'I am for The Put Upon. Do you find yourself caring, supporting and labouring for others, never seeming to have your own life, everyone wanting a little piece of you, never feeling you have time to yourself? I am aligned with those who have lost themselves in the lives of others, feel duty bound to care for all but themselves. I am the medicine of the martyr.'
To completely give yourself to the service of another, putting yourself down the list of priorities, are not the actions of someone who understands a boundary between themselves and others and how incredibly important this is. Mother Wound is useful for those who have grown up with a narcissitic or self centred matriarchal figure, or who have experienced the devastating loss of a mother figure when young and were encouraged or made to be the 'carer' for the family.
Personal Power: 'You are losing yourself to the rumblings of others, to the slow but steady grabs for your power. You’ve seen this coming, your gut has told you, like a flashing neon light. Don’t lose yourself.’
Personal Power helps to highlight where you are losing your personal power or where it is being taken from you, and this includes both your own actions and those of others. This organic flower essence can also be useful for those who have poor boundaries, specifically as a result of the conditionings of upbringing. It is a useful stalwart in the apothecary of the spiritual seeker and practitioner.
Father Wound: 'I am for The People Pleaser. You need not agree to suggestions, plans and responsibilities that you’d rather refuse. Have confidence in saying No. Why do you feel pleasing others is more important than pleasing yourself?'
Helps to show us the reasons behind the behaviours of keeping the peace. You may feel that agreeing or going along with plans and leaving decisions to others is a loving way of making sure everyone is happy, a way to avoid any upset or to seek approval. But Father Wound invites you to explore why you would put your needs and wants secondary and why you need anyone’s approval but your own and that of Spirit.
Grand Mother: 'I guide you, comfort you, temper the inner fire when it burns too high. I am wise and aged, but I have lived so long that I return in the cycle to the child. I know that rebirth is not only possible but it strengthens each time you are reborn.'
Helpful for those who are a little cynical, jaded by the world of adulthood with its restrictions, limitations, responsibilities, demands. The world of adulthood is place of pitfalls and dangers, teachings and hard lessons, love and loss. Aligned with the Triple Goddess as She offers teachings of renewal, rebirth and the cycles of life, how nothing is ever really separate. She is both the child at heart and the elder in body.

The channelled words above from the plant spirits offer their medicine of time being no limit to ancestral work, that healing can happen to only for the past but also for future generations too.
The order in which you use them can be as you wish - I encourage you to listen to your intution in this sense. If you feel that issues that one specific essence helps support comes to the fore, use this essence at that time. Otherwise, they can be used morning, mid evening and bedtime, separately or combined. They can also be called upon when certain aspects reveal themselves: for example, healing the paternal line, the focus would be on Father Wound, supported by Personal Power and Letting Go. I would recommend using Personal Power and Letting Go at all stages of your ancestral work.
