Angel Of The Heavenly Bridge | Loose Smudge and Saining Herbs
This organic loose smudge and saining herbs mix is in honour of one of ancestors - my great great Grandmother. The direct translation of her name into English is 'Angel Of The Heavenly Bridge.' She was gifted in the ancient craft of weaving, hand working with Rush, the plant of The Land and of The Water which is also used in Brigid's Cross. My great great Grandmother also wove shimmering threads of love, deep courage and incredible resilience through her family, and these powerful qualities have followed through the generations. I am honoured to be her descendent and kin.
Angel Of The Heavenly Bridge helps you create an honourable space to connect and commune with the Higher Beings of Light and the Masters Of Sacred Geometry, the Angels. The organic herbs and allies in this smudge and saining mix have been chosen to align with the energy and frequency of this realm.
The scent from the smoke from this mix may not initially be obvious. This is because the Angels take the first of the burning smoke; quite naturally ofcourse, as this mix is to honour and gift them. This reminds me a little of the phrase we have in Scotland when there some whisky lost due to evaporation during the cask maturation process. As the liquid would evaporate into the heavens, it was dubbed the Angels’ Share. The initial smoke from the burning of this mix is the Angel's Share. Once the smoke has subsided, the space is left with a gentle sweetness. I consider this a gift of scent from the Angels in return for your offering.

Both the Altar Tin and the Pinch Pot are designed to be carried in a pocket or bag to have handy for when you're out and about. They are tin and have screw on lids to reduce spillage or waste and to limit light exposure to ensure long lasting potency. They are practical - this was important to me for these mixes; craft and magick are practical. Little glass vials of herbs are lovely (and I stock these too) but they are not practical for carrying with you for outdoor offerings, saining, blessing and communing with The Land. The Pinch Pot is an ideal size to keep in a purse, to have it on hand wherever you go. And it is very handy to have these mixes on you - you never know when you'll get the calling that an area of land or a plant desperately needs a loving offering.**
The Secret Acorn is perfect as a sacred travelling vessel for this purpose and a beautiful adornment to wear. Each comes with a pinch pot of your choice of herbal mix.
(**Please see 'How To Use...' for one of my customers' travels to sacred sites with her specially commissioned herbal mix, now available in The Apothecary.)
