I'm going to give you fair warning here. You are going to need a sense of humour when working with this essence as Trick or Truth likes to play with you. She has a dark sense of humour and, I would say, that if you are from certain parts of Scotland and Ireland, the two of you will get along just fine. There is something deeply - deeply - Celtic about this organic flower essence. I am hesitatant about saying that because there is such a strong Norse element to it too. This essence has me not knowing exactly where She aligns and this is everything about Her. She defies being put into a box.
 
Intuition is ofcourse worldwide - there are no cultural boundaries - but Trick Or Truth is so damn cheeky and mischievous that I feel there are certain cultures who will understand Her medicine better. Trick Or Truth is a whole big cauldron full of the soup of life - death, birth, battle, winning, loving, losing, grieving, joy, bliss - and none of us climb out alive. Humour, my dears, is what you're gonna need and a willingness to be played with.
 
If you have trouble discerning what is genuine from what is not, or are ‘taken in’ by some things that appear to be quite different from what they actually are, this is also the essence for you although there are other essences that a little more gentle in their teachings of intuition - it is for you to decide which is best for you.
 
Trick Or Truth throws some curveballs but this is all for training and strengthening your intuition, an essential sense that has been gifted to us. There is training for a battle of sorts, and here we have the alignment with an aspect of The Crow Goddess and, to a degree, The Valkyries. This is not necessarily a battle of blood but I could argue something just as precious - our inner knowing - and we need to be skilled.
 
Western society, such as it is, is geared toward disconnecting you from your inner knowing, your intuition. You see, you would make better life choices and eschew the ladders of all kinds - career, property, etc - making you a rather poor consumer that is more interested in living a wealthy life rich in other things. Trick Or Truth is the essence for the spiritual seeker who does not shirk from any opportunity to see behind the veils.
 
For those who feel it is now time to step into their intuition, or who berate and blame themselves for being 'too trusting' when they are deceived. This is vulnerability and those who claim to practice magic but use only illusion are taking advantage of the trust of those who cannot tell the difference between sleight of hand and true magic. Trick Or Truth is one of these essences that we should re-acquaint ourselves with regularly.
 
As an additional note, the plant that this essence is crafted from likes to disguise itself as a strawberry when the flowers go over. It isn't a strawberry but it likes to trick me into thinking it is by using my desire for a juicy piece of fruit to lure me. This says everything about the spirit of this essence. Intuition knows it is not a strawberry but the mind, combined with desire, will have us think it is.
